Brief Description

Hiring Deputy Manager (Database Administrator)

Shift Timing 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Location: Ahmedabad, Chennai, Mumbai (Hybrid work mode is available)

Qualification:
BS Degree in technology, business, or related curriculum

Experience:
 8+ years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server 2005 and higher
 5+ years as a Senior DBA
 4+ implementing and managing multi-node clusters
 Advanced knowledge of MS SQL, SQL Server Always On Availability, SQL 
Replication, Log Shipping, and Microsoft Clustering.
 Working knowledge of SQL 2019, 2022, and earlier versions including 2008.
 Experience driving SQL migration projects from the older version to the latest.
 Ability to perform work in a development and operational business environment.
 Working experience in High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options 
for MS SQL Server. Multi-node clustering experience is required.
 Qualified to troubleshoot and resolve database integrity, performance issues, 
blocking and deadlocking, replication, connectivity, and security issues.
 VLDB experience is required.
 Analysis Services, Integration Services, and Reporting Services are a plus.

Roles & Responsibilities:
 Involved in the design, implementation, scaling, and support of SQL Server based 
distributed applications
 Database software and server installation, migrations, configuration and 
management
 Installing changes to database software, service packs, and hotfixes
 Backups, restores, consolidation and reorganization
 Optimizes and tunes database systems to maximize their performance and 
operation
 Defines and improves the overall release process for database systems.

Industry: Preference Healthcare exposure would be an added advantage.
